Nagarkot is a beautiful hill station located in Changunarayan Municipality, Bhaktapur District, Bagmati Province, Nepal.
It lies about 32 km east of Kathmandu and around 14 km from Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Situated at an elevation of approximately 2,175–2,195 meters (7,136–7,201 ft) above sea level, it is one of the most popular destinations near Kathmandu for mountain views and sunrise.
