Pathivara Temple is one of Nepal's most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites, located in Taplejung District of Koshi Province in eastern Nepal.
The temple sits at an elevation of approximately 3,794 meters (12,448 feet) above sea level on a ridge overlooking the eastern Himalayas.
It is dedicated to Goddess Pathivara (Durga) and is revered by both Hindus and Buddhists.
